COMELEC: Certified List of Overseas Voters

2016 Philippine Presidential Election is just a few months away. You can already see a lot of banners, posters and different election paraphernalias all over the country today. Millions (if not Billions) of pesos will be spent by our aspiring political candidates just to get ahead of their rivals. Election jingles, TV and radio advertisements, bribery here and there, empty promises will be heard everywhere and of course, black propaganda will spread all over the country.

But who really sets up the political arena? Is it the politicians? Is it the media? Or is it the Filipino people?

Many said that this 2016 election will be a make or break for the Philippines. People are already tired of the same pattern of governance. Filipinos should really be very careful of whom they will give their vote. But what's really important is for them, Filipinos to cast their vote!

That's the reason why even the migrant Filipino workers from all over the world is also being encouraged by the COMELEC to cast their vote. To set the record straight, there are millions of Filipinos all over the world and their votes could make a very huge impact to the final tally of votes. Besides, it is their own moral obligation as well as their right to vote for whoever they want to sit in Malacanang Palace.

Filipinos abroad are looking for someone who will do everything to bring them all home and give them a stable job in the Philippines. It's not easy for a leader to do that in 6 years of service but at least, that President could start something for them.

Some of you here in Israel wished to have that opportunity to cast your vote. That's why you registered yourself as a voter at the Philippine Embassy in Tel-Aviv. Now, in order for you to check if your registration went through and if you can vote for 2016 election, COMELEC set up an online tool which you can use to check if you are listed as a voter. All you have to do is to click the link below and it will redirect you to the COMELEC's website.

COMELEC: CERTIFIED LIST OF OVERSEAS VOTERS

The application is COMELEC’s online tool for displaying the Certified List of Overseas Voters (CLOV). This tool provides information on the voters that have been approved by the board in-charge of screening the applicants, the Resident Election Registration Board (RERB).

By using this online tool, you can verify if your name has been included in the final list approved by the RERB. If you see your name on the list, it means that your application for overseas voting has been approved and is allowed to vote in the 2016 National Elections.

To generate the concerned list, simply choose the Country and Embassy/Consulate where you applied. You can simply type your name on the search box too.

PLEASE VOTE WISELY!
