It is important that you get your own time for physical exercise. This could help you deal with stress and at the same time make you strong and prepared for the role of caregiving.

            This is a common sign and symptom of chronic stress. The difficulty of sleeping can be attributed to disturb normal sleeping cycle or body clock. Caregivers are most often on an on-call duty. This affects your general sleeping habits and as a result, you find it hard to sleep normally. Identify the things that could make you relax. Find the music you love and listen to them. Get a warm shower before going to bed. Get a pitch black room to help you sleep easily.

                        As you become very stressed at work, you easily overreact to minor issues you encounter.

of your mood and reactions when you are aware of them. Identify the reason why you

reacted the way you reacted. Be patient with yourself and adjust your expectations.


  • New or worsening health problems
            If you notice any health problem that becomes worse than it becomes better, then you probably have to take action. Be proactive in providing the best care for yourself. Prioritize your health. It is important that you get regular medical checkups and give yourself the best nutrition possible.
