We are seeking an experienced male caregiver to assist a man suffering from a degenerative illness. The patient is bedridden and requires assistance with transfers using a lift. He uses a motorized wheelchair for mobility. The patient is alert, fully conscious, but requires close supervision and assistance with all daily activities. Tasks include turning the patient in bed, helping with eating and drinking, bathing, changing, and other daily activities. The patient has a family (wife and adult children), and the caregiver will live in the family home. There is a separate living area with a private kitchen where the caregiver can cook for themselves. The caregiver can work on weekends and holidays if desired.
