With the looming threat of Covid-19 Delta variant, Israel is, once again, considering a major lockdown to prevent the spread of infection among its citizens and the people who are currently living in the country.

 

Talks about the government considering this lockdown during the upcoming long holidays are in the works and this may eventually affect the hiring of caregivers.

 

Essentially, employers right now are looking for caregivers who are already fully vaccinated to hire. This is understandable considering the majority of employers are Senior Adults with comorbidities who are, of course, vulnerable to viruses and any communicable diseases.

This is very important for employers to know as they are also trying to avoid any health issues within their household. They are encouraged to speed up their hiring of Caregivers before the lockdown as it may be very difficult for them as well to process the hiring once it is implemented.

 

We are encouraging you to look for a job on iSavta and apply as soon as possible before the lockdown. But before applying, make sure you’ve updated your profile, especially your Covid-19 Vaccination status. Fully vaccinated Caregivers is preferable so it is important for you to let potential employers know about it.
