As of 4.2.2020 elderly patients (67 and UP) can apply for special visa for a caregiver *120 DAYS* after the last day the caregivers' last registered job (in cases of death of the employer - the day the employer passed away).
In cases of patients under retirement age who are "severely disabled" and completely dependent on the caregiver (188%) - they can apply for special visa for a caregiver *150 DAYS* after the last day the caregivers' last registered job.
All other conditions for Special Visa have not been changed (READ HERE: https://bit.ly/2v9g7EG).
Unfortunately, this new change does not mean that caregivers who stay more than 60 days after their last registered job, are considered "legal", and they are in fact still under risk of deportation.
The rules for the fines/deductions from the sum in the deposit fund *have not* been changed either. for more info about this issue, read this post: https://www.facebook.com/MigrantCaregivers/posts/2375227932557434
